The English Trunk Company was founded in 2014 by mother and daughter partnership, Stella and Celia Thursfield. Through their mutual love of quality interiors, they have reinvented the quintessentially British tuck box and trunk. It is no longer just associated with school days, it can now be used as part of the home. Covered in classic, high quality fabrics manufactured in the UK, Stella and Celia promise there is one to suit every room.

Our fabrics:
All of our fabrics are British made and sourced from mills throughout the UK. Our wools – Red Star, Grey Star and Sage & Blue Check are manufactured in Yorkshire. The mill, which has been in existence for 175 years, supplied the cloth used for all First World War British military uniforms. Our Grey Gingham and Oatmeal Check are both manufactured in Lancashire.

Tucks and Trunks:
Our Tucks and Trunks are handmade in Cambridgeshire using traditional methods of construction that have been in practice for the past 70 years. They are of the highest quality and each stage of manufacture is meticulous, creating an exceptional product that will stand the test of time.
