As two friends with backgrounds in mail order and retail, we've had a vision for many years which has finally come to fruition – to create a luxury online boutique to celebrate our love of great craftsmanship in the UK.

 

At DIMITY FAYRE we want to celebrate the tradition of the artisan – defined in the Oxford Dictionary as ‘a worker in a skilled trade, especially one that involves making things by hand’ – and to move away from the mass-market produced items that can dominate our lives.  So we have carefully selected UK designers whose products reflect high quality craftsmanship, both contemporary and heritage in style, but which are also practical.  Some items have touched us by being uncomplicated yet elegant or eye-catching; some items simply make us smile… but each piece has the skills of its designer imprinted in it.

 

We aim to take the hard work out of shopping for you by presenting one, handpicked collection encompassing beautiful prints, ceramics, jewellery, textiles and gifts, and we hope you will be inspired to find that unusual but special present for a friend, loved one – or even yourself!  Each order is sent out individually gift-wrapped by us, so no fuss and no middle men are involved in your order; you deal with us - one company - only.  As each item is individually handcrafted, no two items will be exactly the same.
